time stretches

I'm still hugely busy, but I'm just about ready to go home. I'm waiting for the last cycle of my real time PCR to run so I can look at the results...twiddle thumbs...

I've been busy...and tired

Apart from the fact I have a job to do I'm trying to delay, I have actually been very busy...and tired, so no writing on my blog. I think there's a soporific virus floating around. Lots of people have had days when they are tired beyond normal, in spite of getting sufficient sleep.

Introductory Posting

Well, I've been meaning to do this for some time....but I've been so busy. Of course, I'm still busy but I'm trying to avoid starting some work. So I thought I'd set up a blog and play with it for a while till I got familiar with it...then tell my friends it's up. I know so little about this that I don't even know if they could find it without me telling them. I'll probably only use it when I'm trying to avoid work - hence the title. Hmm must actually start that work today or the guilt will over power me.
