wearing a floppy hat

I am 99% sure I will be "presenting" at the graduation ceremony in December. This is what you do if the PhD has already been conferred but you want to attend the ceremony in full gear and shake somebody's hand. I've always said I did the PhD so I could wear a blue velvet floppy hat...so I'm not missing out on it. I've sent in my paperwork. Now to keep a finger on the pulse so it doesn't get lost.
